E2E Supply Chain Management, a Coop member in Singapore, is presently in charge of a project cargo shipment worth $500,000. The 1st lot of the shipment consists of 4 x 40ft FR OW & OH & 3 x 40ft OT OH under L/C from Klang, Malaysia, to Kashima, Japan. Each 40ft flatrack container consists of 1 unit of a machine with dimension ranging within 10m (L) x 3m to 6m (W) x 3m (H) and a weight of 20 tons to 30 tons. Each 40 ft open-top container contains 1 unit of a machine with height about 3 m (L and W are within gauge) and weight of 15 tons to 25 tons. For moving this OOG shipment E2E was required to contact the Land Transport Authority for night trucking permission.

“Our supplier’s reluctance to cooperate seamlessly was a major hindrance that our team has successfully prevailed over. Moreover, we have requested for police escort because of the size of the shipment and arranged for qualified surveyors to make sure that the machines are safely loaded/secured for sea transportation.” says Alan Lim the CEO of E2E Supply Chain Management.

Moreover, they were also in charge of moving a cargo from Klang to Singapore by land which required police escort at both the borders. From Singapore, this cargo was shipped out via RORO vessel to Yokohama Port in Japan.

Congratulations to E2E Supply Chain Management for the seamless handling of this ongoing project!
