Kopf & Lübben GmbH, a Coop member in Bremen, Hamburg and Frankfurt, Germany, is making preparations for their exhibition to be held at the transport logistic fair in Munich on 4th-7th June, 2019. “Besides marketing our brand, our focus will be on promoting our extensive know-how and experience of rail freight between China and Europe. The new Silk Road is a challenge to air and ocean carriers with additional rail routes being added on a regular basis,” says Thomas Manigk, Managing Director of Kopf & Lübben.
“The land route through central Asia offers a far shorter transit time compared to ocean freight and is substantially cheaper than air freight. Moreover, rail services cut carbon emissions substantially, which is an important aspect to many of our customers”, he adds.
