Additionally, they have also acquired a warehouse space of 2,000 square meters that will help to expedite their services
Aircargo NL, a Coop member in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, has moved their Operations and Customs Department to a new office. The new office of Aircargo NL which has an area of 200 square meters, will be located at Airborne Avenue 59, 2133 LV Hoofddorp.
Furthermore, they have acquired a new warehouse that sprawls over an area of 2,000 square meters, which “means that Aircargo.nl has now space to store around 1040 pallets”, according to Donny Hamelink, the Commercial Director of Aircargo. “This highly increases the capacity we can offer our clients”.
Their sales team, on the other hand, will continue to operate from their existing address at Jacobus Spijkerdreef 254, 2132 PZ Hoofddorp, The Netherlands. “The relocation of our Operations and Customs teams and the acquisition of the new warehouse are all parts of our endeavours to upscale our company and provide even better services to our customers”, continues Donny Hamelink.
Congratulations to Aircargo NL and all the best for their upcoming projects!
They have also developed a QMS system to ensure that these time and temperature-sensitive items reach their destination in the quickest and safest possible manner
Aircargo.nl, a Coop member in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has recently broadened the scope of their business by specializing in the transport, storage and delivery of pharmaceutical and healthcare products. The movement of these temperature-controlled and time-sensitive shipments were carried out in accordance with the regulations of GDP.
The addition of this new service will enable them to become more versatile when it comes to high-value and time-critical cargoes.
As explained by Mr. Donny Hamelink, the Sales Manager of Aircargo.nl, “We are specialized in airfreight with time-critical and temperature control requirements and our main focus has always been perishables. Adding the Pharma product to our portfolio, therefore, makes sense because the same dedication and accurate handling procedures are required.”
Recently they have shipped salmonella kits to Sao Paolo, Brazil, while their top 3 export destinations include Doha, Qatar, Moscow, Russia, and Accra, Ghana. “It was a challenge for our team to develop a QMS system without any prior hands-on experience with ‘real’ pharmaceutical consignments. However, once the system was in place, it was easy for us to handle our first pharma shipment and finalize the customer implementation.”
Congratulations to Aircargo.nl and wishing them all the best for their future projects!
