The Cooperative Logistics Network’s media partner, The Baltic Ports Conference will take place from the 6th to 8th of September 2023 at Fritiden Hotel, Ystad, Sweden. During the three-day conference, there will be five sessions featuring numerous speakers who are experts in their respective fields. These sessions will delve into critical topics pertinent to the Baltic Sea Region’s port industry. The topics that the speakers will cover will include – Trade in Europe and the BSR, Adapting to change from the ports’ POV, Future of the ferry and ro-ro market in the BSR, Impact of climate change on port development, and Electrification as a key tool for combating climate change.

After the keynote address and the initial round of discussions on the first day, a Evening Cocktail Reception will be held on the second day at Ystad Studio Center. The third and concluding day of the event will revolve around subjects like climate change and the financing of critical infrastructure. Notably, the Port of Ystad stands as one of Sweden’s largest ports for ferry traffic to Poland and Bornholm. Conference attendees will have the opportunity to explore the port during a guided bus tour of the facility.

The Baltic Ports Conference (BPC) stands as the pivotal annual gathering for the Baltic Ports Organization.
