Abad Logistics takes on a new employee in the position of Overseas Manager

Their new staff, Mr. Arbin, will be specially in charge of all businesses to/from China

Abad Logistics Co Ltd, a Coop member in Seoul, South Korea, welcomes aboard a new employee. Mr. Arbin, who has joined Abad Logistics as the Overseas Manager will be primarily responsible for handling the projects to/from territories in China.

In the words of Mr. Nari Pak, the Manager of Abad Logistics, “Mr. Arbin is a valuable addition to our team. As one of the leading logistics service providers in Seoul, we handle plenty of shipments to/from several Chinese cities. Being extremely fluent in Chinese, Mr. Arbin will make it easy for us to communicate with our clients in China.”

Mr. Arbin will be in charge of all kinds of shipments including air/ocean/road freight. Additionally, he will also oversee special cargo, and dangerous goods and assume responsibility for customs clearance. In his words, “As the Overseas Manager, I will seek to provide the quickest response to our clients and also focus on providing a premium logistics experience at a competitive rate. I aim to fulfill my company’s mission and I would make sure to offer quality service for all my fellow Coop members.”

Shine Logistics moves 331 containers of Disassembled Knocked Down (DKW) cars

The cars were moved in 40’ HC containers from Incheon, South Korea, to Kazakhstan via Qingdao, China

Shine Logistics Co Ltd, a Coop member in Seoul, South Korea, arranged for cargoes consisting of DKD (Disassembled Knocked Down) cars. The shipment was moved in 331 x 40’HC containers. The cars were transported from Incheon, Korea, to Kazakhstan via Qingdao, China. The cargo, which was moved in SOC containers reached the consignee on time.

“Owing to the difficult situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic we are developing our own business strategies because of which we succeeded to win this new project. Moreover, our team is trying to come up with new business ideas. Thanks to the expertise of our export team this project was smoothly handled from start to finish,” says Mr Chan-Bin Im from Shine Logistics.

Although there is serious shortage of containers, they cooperated with CIMC (China International Marine Containers Co., Ltd.) as container provider.  This helped them to get SOC containers without any problem.

 

“We are also preparing to ship 143 x 40′ HC containers of DKD cars between end of June to early July. Additionally, we are also handling steel products such as STS coils, steel bars, steel plates, steel sheets, and wire rods. We can arrange for all kinds of cargoes whatever it is via sea or air,” adds Mr. Im.

Shine Logistics is focussing on the shipment of PPEs and recently moved a cargo of masks to Kazakhstan

The cargo which was sent out from South Korea reached Kazakhstan via Qingdao, China

Shine Logistics Co Ltd, a Coop member in Seoul, South Korea, just completed a cargo consisting of face masks from Incheon, Korea, to Kazakhstan via China. “The pandemic and the lockdown in most countries around the world have resulted in an economic downturn and we are trying to adapt to this situation and come up with new business strategies. Now we are handling masks and PPE shipment on a regular basis and thanks to the expertise of my team this project was smoothly handled from start to finish,’’ says Mr. Chan-Bin Im, the President of Shine Logistics. The cargo which was moved in SOC containers reached the consignee right on time.

Previously Shine Logistics moved a cargo of masks to the USA and shipped medical instruments to Brazil via air freight. Mr. Im further adds, “Other than shipping masks, PPEs and medical equipment we are also carrying on with the movement of steel products in which we specialize such as steel bars, STS coils, steel sheets and plates, wire rods and more.”

Shine Logistics moves a project cargo consisting of raw materials for car parts from Incheon, Korea, to Barcelona, Spain

The shipment weighed 41.104 MT and had a length of 4 meters

Shine Logistics, a Coop member in Seoul, South Korea, has recently moved a project cargo from Incheon, South Korea, to Barcelona, Spain. The shipment which consisted of steel round bars had a total weight of 41.104 MT and a length of 4 meters was sent out from Incheon International Airport to Barcelona, Spain.

The Shine Logistics team, which has recently celebrated its 16th Anniversary, is also regularly collaborating with Coop members in Thailand, Australia, Bangladesh, Taiwan etc. “Our business is expanding more and more since we started our membership with the Cooperative Network. Marksman Logistics Services handles an important air cargo of 40 tons from Incheon, South Korea, to Dammam, Saudi Arabia

The recruitment of a new sales representative has also boosted their local sales giving them more opportunities to allocate projects for their network partners 

Marksman Logistics Services, a Cooperative member in Seoul, South Korea, has recently moved an important air shipment from Incheon to Dammam. With nearly 20 years of market experience, they are on very good terms with the airlines and made use of chartered flight from a midpoint in Baku, Azerbaijan to the destination in Dammam. In the words of John Yeon, the Deputy General Manager of Marksman, “Special credit goes to our air operation team who organized the chartered flight, loaded the 40 tons shipment, and ensured the easy movement of this shipment. The cargo reached the consignee on time and our customers were much impressed with our work efficiency.”

Marksman Logistics has also supplemented its sales team by including a new member in their Sales Department. Their local sales have augmented considerably placing them in a better position to go for more collaborative projects with other Coop members. Mr. Yeon further adds, “Our company is AEO certified and proud members of IATA and KIFFA which definitely lends us enough credibility. Moreover, we have recently launched an ERP system after enormous efforts and investment which has been helping our clients and partners to track down all the movements of the cargo.”
