The new facility  features 8,000 m² of covered bonded storage and 30,000 m² of open storage, enhancing their capacity to better handle the cargo of their customers

Antwerp Shipping and Forwarding Company, a member of The Cooperative Logistics Network in Antwerp, Belgium, has opened a new warehouse facility in Kruibeke, strengthening its position as a leading logistics partner. Located at Burchtstraat 87, 9150 Kruibeke, the state-of-the-art facility enhances its ability to manage diverse cargo types efficiently and securely.

“Our new warehouse marks a significant milestone for our company,” said Kenny De Wit, CEO of Antwerp Shipping and Forwarding. “Moreover, with 8,000 m² of covered bonded storage and 30,000 m² of open bonded storage, we can now handle general cargo, bulk shipments, dangerous goods, steel products, RoRo cargo, project cargo, and reefer connections with even greater efficiency.”

ASF’s versatile transport fleet, including container chassis, tautliners, and lowloaders, complements the facility and enables them to move cargo seamlessly across multiple modes of transport. This expansion will allow them to keep offering flexible, secure, and efficient services for their clients and logistics partners. The new Kruibeke facility meets the growing demands of international trade while emphasizing their high standard of service.

Cargo Land International successfully handles mega export project from Egypt to China

They moved 50 tractors with accessories via RORO vessel, totaling 780 tons and 1,550 CBM

Cargo Land International, a Coop member in Alexandria, Egypt, has successfully completed a massive export project from Egypt to China, marking another significant milestone in the company’s growing portfolio of large-scale logistics operations.

The project involved the shipment of 50 tractors with accessories, transported via RORO (Roll-on/Roll-off) vessel—a preferred method for moving heavy and wheeled machinery across long distances. The cargo had a total gross weight of 780 tons and a volume of 1,550 CBM, reflecting the scale and complexity of the operation.

15 containers of brown sugar moved by Consolidacion Integrada from Guatemala to Korea

They transported the cargo from Quetzal to Incheon Port by using dry containers

Consolidacion Integrada, a Coop member in Guatemala City, has recently moved 15 containers of sugar from Quetzal to Incheon Port via ocean freight. Guatemala is the world’s 5th largest sugar exporter. Since 2017, Guatemala has exported over 14 million metric tons of sugar becoming the 2nd largest sugar exporter in Latin America.

The brown sugar was packed in bags before being loaded onto dry containers. In the words of Mr. Javier Giraldo, Manager of Consolidacion Integrada, “This shipment was challenging since it necessitated a lot of coordination and communication with the ocean carrier. However, our extensive experience in container shipping ensured the seamless execution of this project”.
